The EDM scene across the globe has been growing at a steady pace; FIX YOUR FACE RADIO and ThisGoesSoHard are COMMITTED to bringing you the freshest Dubstep, Electro, Glitch-Hop, and Hip-Hop the world has to offer. FIX YOUR FACE RADIO takes pride in being your #1 source for COLORADO talent, featuring weekly mixes from the hottest DJs and Producers from all over the state!
So here's how it works:
If you or someone you know would like to enter the competition, email us a mix (with a soundcloud or mediafire link)@ fixurfaceradio@gmail.com with your chosen genre in the subject line. There will be four categories to choose from: ElectroHouse, Dubstep/Glitch, Tech-House/Downtempo, and MIXED. There will be multiple rounds, and as we near final rounds, you more than likely will be up against DJ's and Producers making music outside of your typical genre. So our advice? Be diverse, and bring your A-game.
The grand prize winner will have a 45 minute mix played on FIX YOUR FACE RADIO, have that mix posted on ThisGoesSoHard blog, and receive the opportunity to open for one of our resident DJs at a venue here in Grand Junction; more prize package info coming soon...
RULES:::
Contestants--
1. one Mix per contestant, per round
2. 20 minutes MAX (anything longer will be disqualified)
3. Individual tracks may only be used ONCE during the competition: new round, new mix
4. Tracklist must be provided with your mix
5. Verify your Western Slope location via FB by adding Cody Jacob to your friends.
6. DEADLINE FOR ROUND 1 ENTRIES IS NOVEMBER 10th (tenetively)
This competition will be judged by EDM FANS all over including the VERY DJs and PRODUCERS YOU LOOK UP TO!!! This is a chance for all EDM artists across the Western Slope to get some much needed exposure!
